Job Summary
Conduct safety assessments, complete hotline calls, and process intake paperwork for victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking. Maintain accurate shelter records, monitor daily operations, administer drug and alcohol screenings, and mediate resident conflicts. Provide clerical support, assist with meals and cleaning, and support the Lead Housing Monitor to ensure smooth facility functioning. Work Friday through Sunday from 6:30 pm to 12:00 am at a shelter facility, with pay ranging from $14.25 to $14.50. This role aligns with The Salvation Army's mission to protect vulnerable populations.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
- Ability to lift light objects weighing less than 24 pounds
- One year vocational/technical school degree and six months experience
- Equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge and skills and abilities
Desired Qualifications
- ServSafe Certification preferred
