Job Summary
Update resident admittance cards and tracking sheets while inputting data into the computer system. Monitor client day-to-day activities by scheduling passes, inventorying supplies, administering prescribed medication, and tracking general whereabouts. Maintain the shelter logbook through documentation, collect and document urinalysis and breathalyzer test results, and mediate conflicts between residents. Perform administrative tasks including answering phones, filing, and labeling. Work part-time in a lodge/shelter facility to ensure the safety, security, and wellbeing of residents and the building in accordance with the Salvation Army's mission.
Required Qualifications
- One year vocational/technical school degree
- Six months experience
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language
- Ability to lift light objects weighing less than 24 pounds
