Job Summary
Provide expert legal advice to clients regarding housing disrepair claims, assessing situations and gathering evidence to build strong cases. Draft and issue letters of claim, pre-action protocols, and court documents while representing clients in negotiations and hearings. Liaise with surveyors and housing officers, maintain up-to-date knowledge of housing law and case law, and support junior solicitors and paralegals. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. This experienced solicitor will join a leading London claimant firm dedicated to delivering justice in disrepair claims.
Required Qualifications
- Qualified solicitor
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in housing law
- Specifically in disrepair claims
- Strong and confident litigator
- Strong understanding of the relevant legislation and case law
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Proven ability to manage a caseload effectively and meet deadlines
- Commitment to client care and achieving positive outcomes
