Job Summary
Prepare and maintain employee housing units, including moving furniture, while keeping common areas clean and presentable. Perform carpentry, plumbing, painting, electrical, HVAC, snow removal, carpet installation, and cleaning tasks. Manage lawn and landscape maintenance in summer and snow/ice removal in winter, plus year-round trash removal. Operate and repair facility equipment and tools, and drive the company truck as needed. Assist in emergencies and report safety hazards or suspicious activity to management. Complete delegated projects and collaborate with other departments as business volumes demand.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must have a valid, current, and unrestricted Driver's License
- Proficient knowledge of fire and safety procedures
- Proficient mechanical aptitude for operation and repair of facility equipment and tools
- Proficient with all hand, power and pneumatic tools and the ability to use them safely, and must maintain all tools in a clean and orderly condition while maintaining a clear, uncluttered work area
- Proficient maintenance skills
- Proficient with carpentry, plumbing, painting, electrical, HVAC, snow removal, painting, carpet installation, cleaning
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Ability to work in collaboration with others to achieve team goals
- Ability to do basic problem-solving
- Ability to identify straightforward issues and propose simple solutions
- Ability to operate and maintain an Aspen One company truck as necessary
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must be able to regularly lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs. individually or with assistance
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
- Proficient knowledge in building maintenance, construction or similar skilled trade is preferred
