Housing Development Analyst (3550)

Housing Development Analyst supports the Authority’s real estate development and preservation activities across the lifecycle of public housing, RAD, PBV, and mixed-finance projects. Develops core competencies in project coordination, development finance, subsidy layering, and public-sector compliance while assisting senior staff with data analysis, reporting, and interdepartmental coordination. Responsibilities include tracking development milestones (procurement schedules, design phases, financing closings, construction milestones, conversion milestones), maintaining schedules and status reports, preparing materials for committees and external stakeholders, coordinating with consultants, assisting with budgets and pro formas, analyzing operating subsidies and financing assumptions, tracking HUD subsidies and LIHTC equity, monitoring variances, maintaining records of funding commitments, and preparing recurring and ad hoc management reports. Also supports compliance with HUD regulations and NJ procurement requirements, and performs other duties to support the Development Department. Strong analytical, Excel, and communication skills, with ability to work across departments and with external partners; interest in affordable housing and public-sector development.
