Job Summary
Review property-level financial statements, operating budgets, and audits to assess performance and identify variances. Prepare recurring and ad hoc financial reports, schedules, and dashboards for housing and finance leadership while monitoring portfolio performance against budget. Analyze property and portfolio data to identify trends, compile data sets for long-term planning, and develop reporting tools to improve visibility. Support development activities by preparing financial schedules, reports, and data needed for projects in the development pipeline, including assistance with underwriting, funding applications, and feasibility analysis. Assist in preparing investor, lender, and compliance reporting for LIHTC properties, supporting tenant income certification and regulatory processes. Occasional travel may be required for site visits and meetings.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, real estate, business administration, or a related field
- Experience reviewing or analyzing financial statements, budgets, or audits
- Strong financial and analytical skills
- Proficiency in spreadsheets and reporting tools
- Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of affordable housing, LIHTC properties, or real estate development
- Familiarity with HUD programs and affordable housing compliance
