Job Summary
Coordinate the day-to-day delivery of the Long-Term Affordable Housing Program by managing applications, waitlists, leases, inspections, and resident follow-up. Maintain accurate housing data, occupancy records, and reporting tools while tracking rent collection, maintenance follow-up, and program feedback. Support residents from a trauma-informed lens through referrals and systems navigation, and collaborate with Facilities on unit walkthroughs and turnover processes. Ensure compliance with housing policies and workflows while contributing to program evaluation and continuous improvement. This full-time, year-round role involves 37.5 hours per week across a five-day shift schedule in the Bow Valley.
Required Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Human Services, Social Work, Nonprofit Management, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 2 to 3 years of related experience in affordable housing, social services, emergency housing, property management, nonprofit programming, or community-based work
- Experience supporting program coordination, administration, delivery, or evaluation
- Familiarity with trauma-informed practice, housing retention, client-centred approaches, and community support systems
- Strong administrative and technical skills, including Microsoft Office and database or property management systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organization, attention to detail, confidentiality, and follow-through
- Ability to assess urgency, manage competing priorities, and work both independently and collaboratively
- Commitment to equity, inclusion, reconciliation, and YWCA Banff's mission and values
- Located in the Bow Valley or able to reliably work on-site in Banff as required
