Job Summary
Coordinate youth access to safe affordable scattered site housing by serving as the primary contact between programs and Coordinated Entry, reviewing eligibility documentation, and completing HMIS enrollment forms. Manage ongoing rental assistance compliance by securing lease copies, maintaining monthly ledgers, and submitting funding requests aligned with grant budgets. Ensure grant and contract compliance through timely HMIS data entry, reporting, and training direct service staff on data standards. Track program vacancy rates and move-in/move-out statuses to align with grant work plans and budget projections. Provide regular reports on program outcomes and demographics to housing leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years' experience working with the homeless or at-risk youth
- Experience with a positive youth development and harm reduction approach
- Minimum of 1-2 years' experience working with data management systems
- HMIS preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to manage time well, prioritize efficiently and meet competing deadlines
- Flexibility to respond to changing priorities
- Personable and able to work well with direct services staff and leadership
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise judgment over the treatment of sensitive issues
- Demonstrated ability to work and communicate effectively with people of diverse ethnic, economic, racial and cultural backgrounds
- Essential Onsite Flex – This role requires the employee to be onsite, with the possibility of some specific and limited remote hours
- Employees are required to be fully onsite during the initial 3-month training period
- Ability to lift up to 10 lbs
