Job Summary
Provide coordination and oversight for Nome Community Center's housing and homelessness programs. Manage housing programs to prevent and end homelessness, coordinate with housing providers, service agencies, Tribal organizations, local government, and program participants; perform program management, grant administration, and data handling (HMIS) to support housing stability, client support services, and community collaboration. Responsibilities include data collection and reporting for grants, maintaining client records, coordinating with partners, developing Individual Success Plans focused on housing stability, and facilitating activities that promote social connection and wellness. Requires strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, ability to work independently, and ability to travel within the community; preferred Bachelor’s degree and grant-management experience.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Driver’s License
- Must be able to pass criminal background checks
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience working with housing programs, homelessness services, case management, or marginalized populations
- Proficiency with computers, Microsoft Office applications, and data management systems
