Job Summary
Provide bespoke housing advice and empower customers to improve their housing conditions while working proactively to prevent or relieve homelessness. Make in-depth inquiries and issue defendable decisions regarding the council's duties under Parts 6 and 7 of the Housing Act 1996. Collaborate with various departments and agencies to fulfil statutory responsibilities for homeless persons and those in housing need. This role supports Wiltshire Council's Housing Solutions team in a challenging housing market, ensuring customers receive trauma-informed assistance. The position involves 37 hours per week with a hybrid working model where customer-facing staff work entirely from their service location. Interviews are scheduled for the week beginning 25th of August 2026.
