Job Summary

Coordinate applicant intake, eligibility reviews, and waitlist management while scheduling suite showings and leasing appointments. Provide exceptional customer service to residents and stakeholders, responding promptly to enquiries or complaints. Manage resident information in the Arcori property management system, including data entry, rent roll reports, and collecting income documents for rent reviews. Draft and distribute building-wide notices, support move-ins and move-outs, and maintain lease agreements and resident files. Assist with annual unit inspections and prepare documentation for RTB hearings and disputes. Support the Housing & Property Services team with general administrative duties and resident engagement activities across multiple Metro Vancouver properties.

Required Qualifications

  • High-school certificate
  • Post-secondary education (i.e. degree, diploma, certificate) in non-profit housing property management, rental property management license or related field
  • A minimum of two to five (2-5) years of administrative experience
  • Must have access to reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
  • Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or be willing to get vaccinated before their start date
  • Excellent competency in administration and resident/customer relations
  • Excellent organizational and project management abilities
  • Excellent interpersonal and conflict-management skills
  • Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving
  • Ability to work independently and well under pressure
  • Ability to handle multiple demands, tight timelines and competing priorities
  • An understanding of diversity, equity, inclusion, decolonization, and indigenization best practices and principles
  • Excellent digital literacy and experience with MS Office Suite Products: Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, OneDrive, Windows-based operating systems, internet, and mobile technology

Desired Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education (i.e. degree, diploma, certificate) in non-profit housing property management, rental property management license or related field would be an asset
  • Experience in leasing or event management would be an asset
  • Experience in the non-profit and co-op housing sector would be an asset
  • An equivalent level of skills and experience will be considered
  • Experience working in Arcori or other property management systems would be an asset
  • Experience with subsidized and market rental housing would be an asset
  • Lived experience in social housing would be an asset
