Job Summary
Houseperson to support the housekeeping department by ensuring guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces are clean, organized, and well stocked. Assist Room Attendants with cleaning, stocking, and preparing guest rooms to luxury standards; replenish amenities, towels, and linen; collect and transport soiled linens, trash, and recyclables; keep carts, closets, and storage areas organized; clean and maintain public areas, corridors, elevators, and service spaces; support turndown service and guest requests; report maintenance issues and lost-and-found items; follow safety procedures and maintain a professional, courteous demeanor to deliver a seamless, luxurious guest experience at The Monarch San Antonio. Ability to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays; prior housekeeping experience is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Preferred housekeeping or hospitality experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced luxury hotel environment
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- Physical ability to lift, bend, push, pull, and stand for extended periods
- Basic English communication skills; additional language skills preferred
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
