Job Summary
Conduct proper cleaning of rooms, halls, offices, and public spaces while inspecting areas to ensure guest readiness. Assist room attendants with heavy items like mattresses and soiled linens, collect trash throughout the hotel, and respond promptly to guest requests for supplies. Shampoo carpets, strip and wax floors, steam clean tiles, and perform minor maintenance tasks including filter cleaning, bulb replacement, and snow removal. Unload baggage and ensure meeting rooms are set up and ready for use. Maintain safety standards, adhere to the Associate Handbook, and communicate in English to provide the expected service level.
Required Qualifications
- The ability to communicate with our guests in English
- Have a thorough knowledge of emergency procedures
- Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds; push and pull 100 pounds
- Must be thoroughly familiar with Associate Handbook
- Wear proper uniform at all times in accordance with the standards of appearance
- Practice safety standards at all times and be alert to hazardous conditions
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be able to push and pull 100 lbs
