Job Summary
Clean guest rooms, hallways, and work areas by stripping linens, vacuuming carpets, dusting fixtures, polishing metalwork, and washing walls, windows, and woodwork. Empty wastebaskets, transport waste to disposal areas, and stock delivered supplies while replacing light bulbs. Adhere to material safety data sheet regulations when using chemicals and greet guests in a friendly, warm manner. Report to scheduled shifts on time in uniform, complying with all company policies and procedures. This seasonal position at the Sheraton Virginia Beach Oceanfront requires flexibility for weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED certification or equivalent experience
- Must have basic Reading, Writing, and Math skills
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work
- Customer Service Skills
- Prioritization and time management skills
- Must have a strong attention to detail
- Must be available on weekends and holidays
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
