Job Summary

Stock central storage facilities and guest room attendant carts with supplies, conduct inventories, and collect dirty linens for laundry delivery. Maintain cleanliness in public areas and assist with heavy guest room cleaning as needed. Operate floor-cleaning equipment including carpet scrubbers and vacuums, while performing visual inspections and maintenance on light cleaning tools. Deliver special request items to guest rooms and promote positive relations with patrons and staff. Adhere to a 24-hour schedule and complete all required SGC training programs within nine months.

Required Qualifications

18 years of age or older
Must possess basic mathematical skills necessary for conducting inventories and counting linens
Must possess excellent communication skills
Ability to write routine correspondence and to speak effectively to the public, employees and customers
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
Ability to deal effectively and interact well with the customers and employees
Ability to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner
Must be able to effectively understand and communicate to candidates and employees
Must be able to stand, walk, and move through all areas of the casino
Must be able to work in an environment where smoking is permitted
Position requires standing and walking 100% of the time
Requires bending, lifting and carrying supplies up to twenty-five (25) pounds 80% of the time
With assistance, required to push or pull carts and/or furniture weighing several hundred pounds
Adequate manual dexterity to operate office equipment
Must have the ability to stand, walk, and move through all areas of the casino
