Job Summary
Prepare waste bins, maintain garbage rooms, and sweep outdoor areas including walkways and parking lots. Safely operate bin tugs, perform minor repairs with hand tools, and clean amenity spaces like barbecues and patio furniture. Conduct in-suite inspections before occupancy, assist with furniture removal, and report maintenance issues or safety hazards. Sweep garage areas, power wash surfaces, and ensure compliance inspections for HVAC and life safety equipment are supported. Work scheduled shifts including evenings, weekends, and overnight on-call coverage.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum High School education
- Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
- Physical capability to work on feet for extended periods and to push, pull, and lift moderate to heavy weights
- Technical knowledge of minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general maintenance tasks
- Ability to work scheduled shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and overnight on-call coverage
- Uniforms must be worn and grooming standards consistently maintained
- Commitment to completing all tasks and assignments to required standards
- Ability to work effectively both independently and with limited supervision
- Strong team orientation and willingness to assist colleagues as needed
- Adaptable to changing demands and priorities
- Ability to interact with a wide range of people and personalities
- Proven organizational skills and attention to detail
- Energetic personality with a positive attitude
- Ability to interact with residents in a pleasant, helpful, and professional manner
- Respond promptly and professionally to resident enquiries

Desired Qualifications
- Hospitality or Property Management background
- Previous janitorial or custodial experience
- Customer service experience in a client-facing role
