Job Summary
Conduct daily cleaning duties across common areas, including vacuuming, mopping, scrubbing, and polishing floors while inspecting furniture for tears or stains. Wash walls and ceilings, move furniture, and manage linens by collecting soiled items and stocking closets. Deliver requested amenities, set up cribs and beds, and refill guest supply pantries. Walk assigned floors at shift start and end to collect trash and soiled linens, reporting any damages to supervisors. Maintain a friendly demeanor while following standard operating procedures and uniform guidelines. Work a flexible schedule based on hotel occupancy, standing or walking up to eight hours with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- Has a strong working knowledge of and passion for hospitality
- Displays a strong hands-on approach
- Guest service oriented
- Strong knowledge of cleaning products
- Minimum of one-year experience in a similar position
- Must be able to stand or walk a minimum of eight hours
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
