Job Summary
Clean and maintain hotel public areas including lobbies, hallways, elevators, stairwells, restrooms, and entryways while monitoring assigned spaces to ensure they remain clean, safe, and guest-ready. Remove trash, used linens, and debris from guest corridors, report maintenance concerns or safety hazards promptly, and assist Room Attendants by delivering linens, towels, and amenities. Transport soiled items to collection areas, restock housekeeping closets and carts, and respond courteously to guest requests by delivering items to rooms and reporting service concerns to supervisors. Follow all safety procedures and housekeeping standards while maintaining organization of work areas and equipment. Available for flexible shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays in Jonesboro, AR.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests, team members, and supervisors
- Ability to follow safety procedures and housekeeping standards
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
- Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, reach, climb stairs, and move throughout the hotel for extended periods
- Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull housekeeping carts, linens, supplies, and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
- Ability to safely operate housekeeping equipment and use cleaning chemicals in accordance with safety guidelines
- Ability to effectively lead and coach others
Desired Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping, hospitality, janitorial, or custodial experience
- Experience operating commercial housekeeping equipment
- Familiarity with Marriott, Hilton, or Hyatt housekeeping standards
