Job Summary
Greet guests by name upon arrival and throughout their stay, maintaining a friendly demeanor and answering all incoming calls with approved greetings. Greet every guest with a smile while cleaning guest rooms, hallways, stairwells, and public spaces, ensuring all areas remain spotless and well-organized. Collect trash from exterior receptacles, parking lots, and pool areas, deliver soiled linen to the laundry room, and restock guest floor amenities and housekeeping carts. Monitor public space furniture condition and report issues to management, while completing operational checklists to 100% accuracy and submitting accurate shift handover reports. Store and retrieve luggage for guests as needed. Work a varied schedule including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays, adhering to strict clock-in/out times and break protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in a hospitality, service, consumer-facing franchise or related field
- Must have a positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Must be able to understand and follow established guidelines and procedures
- Must work well in stressful, high-pressure situations
- Must be effective at listening to, understanding, clarifying, and resolving the concerns and issues raised by co-workers and guests
- Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly
- Must have a desire to serve all guests
- Must be 18 years of age or older to perform this job
- Must be willing to work a varied schedule that may include evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays based upon the demands of the hotel
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position satisfactorily
