Houseperson/Maintenance Technician

Job Summary
Conduct daily cleaning of hotel public areas, including lobbies, hallways, and restrooms, while responding promptly to guest requests for amenities and supplies. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry issues, completing preventative maintenance schedules and conducting daily property inspections to identify safety hazards. Assist room attendants with linen replenishment, set up event spaces, and manage maintenance logs and work orders. Work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays, with ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate maintenance tools.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb for extended periods
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to safely operate maintenance tools and housekeeping equipment
Desired Qualifications
- Previous hotel housekeeping, maintenance, facilities, or related experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building maintenance
- Strong customer service skills with a positive and professional attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Valid driver's license preferred
