Job Summary
Maintain hotel cleanliness by upkeeping public areas, changing linens, restocking supplies, and cleaning furniture, elevators, and restrooms. Perform preventative maintenance tasks, recognize safety hazards, and report damages to supervisors. Organize storerooms, deliver special request items, and assist with guest services while adhering to flexible scheduling based on occupancy. Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds as required.
Required Qualifications
- Highly motivated team player with strong initiative and desire for achievement
- Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems as necessary
- Ability to work well in stressful situations
- Readily available and approachable for all guests while providing excellent guest service
- Regularly required to stand, sit or walk for an extended period of time
- Regularly required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
- Frequently required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Variable scheduling availability based on guest occupancy, season, staffing and other factors
