Job Summary
Maintain guest corridor, closet, and elevator landing cleanliness while transferring linen and delivering items to rooms. Walk assigned floors to remove trash and linens, noting areas needing immediate cleaning. Assist with housekeeping calls, ensure supplies are stocked, and handle lost-and-found items per company standards. Report repair needs and safety issues to management immediately. Operate and drive the shuttle as applicable. Maintain a clean, safe work environment and approach all interactions with guests and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions when provided in written, oral, or scheduled form
- Ability to read, write, and speak effectively in English in order to communicate with guests and team members
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
- Must be able to multi-task
- Must be a team player
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a high degree of autonomy
- Must have valid driver's license and clean driving record (As applicable by property)
- Must maintain a clean and safe work environment and report any safety issues to management immediately
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of housekeeping experience in the hospitality industry preferred
