Job Summary
Deliver linen to housekeepers, empty trash and linens, and collect dirty glasses throughout the day. Pick up clean glasses, deliver them to floor closets, and remove cots, cribs, and miscellaneous items from hallways. Clean guest laundry twice daily, empty vacuums, and mop floors while vacuuming hallways and corridors. Spot clean windows, polish elevator tracks and brass plates, and clean vending machines daily. Respond to guest requests within 10 minutes and complete all special assignments. Turn in keys at shift end and assist with monthly supply storage. Work seven days a week, 24 hours a day, with hours varying based on business and weather demands.
Required Qualifications
- Have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules (i.e., Lockout Tagout, JSA's), safety awareness information (MSDS), operation and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to keep logs
- Ability to speak effectively to customers and associates
- Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
- Frequently lift and/or move up to 30 pounds
- Occasionally lift and/or move more than 50 pounds
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
- Must be able to work in outside weather conditions
