Job Summary
Maintain clean and attractive hotel corridors and public areas by stripping guest room linens, removing trash, and distributing clean towels from carts. Stock housekeeping carts and closets with supplies, replenish cleaning materials and amenities, and ensure all equipment is maintained according to safety guidelines. Perform maintenance work orders, complete daily paperwork, and deliver necessary supplies to Guest Room Attendants as needed. Communicate problems, challenges, or unusual matters to supervisors and resolve guest issues promptly and courteously. Work various hours including weekends and holidays while adhering to established policies and service standards.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Bi-lingual and multi-cultural experience
- Good interpersonal, guest service and communication skills
- A smartphone capable of running company applications and communication systems
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Pueblo of Santa Ana Gaming and Regulatory Commission non-gaming license
- Detail oriented, organized individual with the ability to multi-task
- Ability to provide strong customer service
- Ability to handle conflict situations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to deal with stressful situations in a professional manner
- Team Player
- Must regularly lift and /or move up to 50 pounds
- Must frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
- Must occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds
- Must be able to work various hours including weekends and holidays
- Must present self in a well-groomed, professional appearance
- Must be able to work at a fast pace with accuracy
- Must be able to handle stress effectively
- Must be able to stand and walk for a long duration of time
- Physical ability to safely perform the essential job functions of the position
