Houseperson reports to the Executive Housekeeper / General Manager and supports housekeeping by maintaining public areas, delivering linens and supplies, assisting with guest requests, restocking carts, and participating in daily hotel operations. The role involves safe handling of cleaning equipment and chemicals, collaboration with other departments, and contributing to guest satisfaction through proactive service and attention to safety and standards.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work in a physically demanding role, including standing, lifting, bending, and pushing heavy carts
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with guests and associates professionally and respectfully
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required
- Experience: Prior housekeeping or hospitality experience is preferred but not required
