Job Summary
Maintain and clean all office spaces, hotel public areas, and guest room halls while ensuring areas remain free of safety hazards. Transport linen from the loading dock to floors, pull items from laundry chutes, and deliver both internal and external guest requests. Inform supervisors of any linen shortages and exhibit a friendly, helpful manner with customers and team members. Perform any additional duties assigned by management. This role requires standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, and occasionally moving up to 100 pounds in a fast-paced entertainment environment across 43 North American destinations.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Good communication skills
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other team members of the organization
- Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's
- Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
- Must occasionally lift up to 50 pounds and move up to 100 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- Prior hotel experience preferred
