Job Summary
Houseperson supports the Housekeeping and Rooms Division by maintaining cleanliness, restocking supplies, delivering linens and amenities, assisting Room Attendants and public areas staff, and helping with special cleaning tasks. Responsibilities include cleaning guest rooms and public spaces, operating cleaning equipment and carts, monitoring supply levels, reporting maintenance or safety issues, assisting with training temporary staff, and coordinating with Housekeeping Supervisors and Front Office to meet operational needs. Emphasis on safety protocols, guest privacy, and teamwork to ensure a positive guest experience.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 40 pounds frequently
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good physical stamina and time management skills
