Job Summary
Houseperson at DelMonte Hotel Group responsible for the cleanliness of hotel public areas, delivery of guestroom supplies, and assisting guests with transportation. Duties include cleaning lobby, restrooms, offices, corridors, banquet areas, elevators, stairways, and outdoor areas; providing safe transportation to guests via the hotel shuttle; handling soiled linens and transporting to laundry; delivering linens, towels, and guest room supplies; assisting with setup of cots, cribs, and other guest-related items; collecting trash and transporting to disposal; inspecting fixtures and equipment; maintaining storage closets; assisting with bed stripping; ensuring amenities and supplies are placed throughout the hotel; performing deep cleaning tasks; moving furniture and assisting with snow removal; replacing light bulbs. Requirements: 1-3 months related housekeeping experience or training, valid state Driver’s License with no major violations, and strong organizational/time-management/prioritization skills. Compensation is $16.00-$16.25/hour with full-time benefits; on-site location in Rochester, NY.
