Job Summary
Complete final breakdown of function by cleaning rooms and returning equipment to proper locations. Set up, stock, and maintain work areas while monitoring cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned stations. Transport dirty linen, separate napkins from tablecloths, and restock shelves with clean linens. Practice clean-as-you-go procedures throughout the shift and assist other departments to ensure optimum guest service. Welcome and acknowledge all guests, anticipate service needs, and thank guests with genuine appreciation. Follow all safety policies, report accidents or unsafe conditions, and maintain professional appearance and confidentiality.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- Must be able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift
- Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance
- Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing in excess of 75 pounds with assistance
- Must be able to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
- Must be able to move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces as well as up and down stairs and/or service ramps
- Must be able to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
- Must be able to read and visually verify information in a variety of formats (e.g., small print)
