Job Summary
House Person at Aloft Minneapolis is responsible for the operations of cleaning rooms, public space cleaning, laundry production and related areas, working with the Housekeeping Supervisor to cover days off, train staff, assist with scheduling, and other duties. Essential tasks include cleaning rooms, hallways, restrooms; washing walls and ceilings; moving furniture; cleaning carpets and floors; handling linen and supplies; delivering towels and amenities; assisting room attendants; and reporting issues. The role requires strong customer service in hospitality, multi-lingual communication, and adherence to brand standards and safety. Schedule is full-time with evening availability including weekdays and weekends. Compensation ranges from $17-$18 per hour, with full-time benefits such as medical/dental/vision, disability and life insurance, 401k, paid holidays, PTO, and employee discounts.
Required Qualifications
- No prior housekeeping experience required
- Customer service experience in the hospitality industry strongly preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively in a multilingual environment
- Neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance
- Must meet criminal background screening requirements for position
