Job Summary
Ensure security of all keys and equipment during your shift while following guest confidentiality guidelines. Maintain high standards of property presentation, hygiene, and cleanliness through the economic use of chemicals and linen. Clean all equipment correctly, keep store rooms and trolleys neat, and ensure corridors are free of trays or cages. Assist with the removal of rollaway beds and cots, and help guests with general enquiries. Support the Housekeeping team by delivering all hotel linen, chemicals, laundry, and handling heavy lifting. Work a rotating 7-day roster at Novotel and Ibis Melbourne Central, a dual-branded hotel with 473 rooms in the CBD.
Required Qualifications
- Have the ability to work rotating 7 day roster
- A hands-on and pro-active work ethic
- Demonstrated ability to comfortably take initiative
- Demonstrated time management skills
- Knowledge of appropriate chemicals for cleaning purposes
