Job Summary
Houseperson assists the Executive Housekeeper, Housekeeping Supervisors and Room Attendants in performing their work more effectively and efficiently and cleans public areas to ensure hotel cleanliness standards are met. Responsibilities include inventorying supplies, mixing and issuing cleaning agents, restocking linen storerooms, assisting with carts and deliveries (including rollaways and cribs), trash removal, receiving and storing new supplies, cleaning corridor lights, helping with room moves and deep-clean tasks like shampooing carpets and waxing floors. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent (preferred), strong reading/writing/math, attention to detail, guest communication, knowledge of cleaning machinery, and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds and push/pull up to 500 pounds. Typical shifts may include weekends and holidays; benefits include PTO, 401K, medical/dental/vision, FSA/HSA, and internal promotion opportunities.
