Job Summary
Two-person, married-couple Full-time Flex Houseparents on Milton Hershey School campus in Hershey, PA, are responsible for supervising 8–13 students, providing mentorship, managing household routines, administering medications, transporting students to activities, leading devotions and Chapel, budgeting and reporting, and transitioning to a placed houseparent role. The role requires living on campus, dedication to student development, ability to lead activities and devotions, and collaboration as a pair to care for the student homes.
Required Qualifications
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services
