Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (two-person, married couple) reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, supervision, and guidance for approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring students, managing household routines, administering medications, transporting students to activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting and reporting, and sustaining a structured, family-like environment. Employment begins with a nine-days-on, three-days-off cycle, with potential transition to a placed houseparent in the same student home. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-year married couple minimum
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Willingness to relocate to Hershey, PA
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
