Job Summary
Two-person, full-time Flex Houseparents needed to reside on-campus in student homes in Hershey, PA (relocation from current posting location). The role supervises and mentors groups of 8–13 students, manages household routines and schedules, administers medications, drives students to activities, plans and participates in developmental and recreational activities, leads daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and oversees budgeting and household reporting. Initially, duties follow a nine-days-on, three-days-off cycle with a future transition to a placed Houseparent role living with the same group of students. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-spouse, married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; role model for students
- Completion of individual employment applications for both spouses
