Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents (married couples) reside on-campus in Parkersburg, WV, with a relocation-to-Hershey, PA requirement. They provide daily supervision, mentorship, manage household routines and student schedules, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and engage in developmental/recreational activities, lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, oversee budgeting and reporting, and progress from nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off to a placed houseparent in the same student home. Benefits include salary per person of $46,917 (with total compensation around $180,000 per couple including housing and benefits), relocation assistance, comprehensive health/retirement benefits, and paid time off.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-spouse marriage and two-year marriage requirement
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; role modeling
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Willingness to reside on-campus with students
