Job Summary
Two-person married couple roles live on campus as Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School, providing supervision, care, guidance, and structured daily routines for 8–13 students in on-campus homes. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring students, managing household routines and schedules, administering medications, transporting students to activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting, and reporting. The work schedule begins with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with a transition from Flex Houseparent to Placed Houseparent living with the same group of students. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and chapel services
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
