Job Summary
Houseparents needed as a two-person married couple to serve Full-time Flex Houseparents in on-campus student homes, providing daily supervision, mentorship, and care for 8–13 students. Responsibilities include managing household routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions, and overseeing budgeting and reporting. Schedule initially consists of nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement in a single student home. Relocation to Hershey, PA is available; compensation is $44,768 per person (approximately $168,000 total per couple) plus comprehensive benefits, housing, meals while on duty, utilities, and more.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouse two-year marriage minimum
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Willingness to lead daily devotions and accompany Sunday Chapel services
- Commitment to smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Experience with youth (working or volunteering)
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
