Job Summary
Flex Houseparents for Milton Hershey School reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. The role operates on a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule during the initial phase, with eventual placement in a single student home. The position offers relocation assistance, comprehensive benefits, and is a full-time, two-person couple role with on-campus housing and meals on duty.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading devotions and Sunday Chapel
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
