Job Summary
Married couples needed as Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School to reside in on-campus student homes and oversee 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring students, managing routines and schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions, and overseeing budgets and reporting. Schedule begins with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with progression to a Placed Houseparent role living with the same group of students. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for married couples
- Both spouses aged 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children in the home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lead daily devotions and attend Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
