Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents live on-campus in Hershey, PA, as a two-person married couple caring for 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions, and budgeting/household reporting. The role begins with a nine-on/three-off cycle, with eventual placement into a single student home. Benefits include housing, meals on duty, comprehensive health coverage, retirement options, relocation assistance, and paid training. Both spouses must complete individual applications to be considered.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two spouses must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Willingness to lead daily devotions and accompany students to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
