Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (two-person married couple) on Milton Hershey School's on-campus homes in Hershey, PA, providing daily supervision, mentorship, and care for 8–13 students; manage household routines, administer medications, drive to activities, plan and engage in developmental/recreational activities, lead daily devotions and chapel attendance, oversee budgeting and reporting; initial schedule of nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement in a fixed student home; relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits offered.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; MHS staff serve as role models for students
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Relocation assistance and paid training provided
- For consideration, both spouses must complete individual employment applications
Additional Requirements

- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
