Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparent role at Milton Hershey School on-campus in Hershey, PA. Couples reside in student homes, provide supervision, mentoring, and support for 8–13 students; responsibilities include daily supervision, managing routines and schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading devotions and Chapel attendance, budgeting and reporting, and transitioning to a placed houseparent arrangement. Eligibility includes being legally married for at least two years, both spouses age 27+, high school diploma or GED, ability to lift 50 lbs, valid driver’s license, and willingness to relocate to on-campus housing with comprehensive benefits and relocation assistance. The role begins with a nine-on/three-off schedule and may transition to a fixed student-home assignment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-spouse role must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
