Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (two-person married couple) at Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, living in on-campus student homes and supervising a group of ~8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, medication administration, driving students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement into a single student-home. Relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits are provided. Requires two-person married couple, both spouses aged 27+, valid U.S. driver’s license, high school diploma or GED, ability to lift 50 lbs, and commitment to a smoke- and weapon-free campus; duties involve travel with students and active engagement in student welfare.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses aged 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
