Job Summary
Houseparents (married couples) required to reside on-campus at a student-centered home, providing care, supervision, and mentorship to 8–13 students. Roles evolve from nine-on/three-off shifts to a placed houseparent arrangement. Responsibilities include supervising daily routines, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and chapel services, budgeting and reporting, and maintaining a structured, family-like home environment to support students' academic, emotional, and social development. Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- High school diploma or GED
- Two spouses must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel
- Proficiency in managing household routines and budgeting
- Friendly, supervisory role with students in a residential setting
- Driver certification to operate student home vans
- No smoking, no alcohol on duty; weapon-free campus
- Ability to drive students to activities
- Willingness to live on-campus in student homes
- Comprehensive background and training provided
