Job Summary
Two-person full-time Flex Houseparents reside in on-campus student homes to supervise 8–13 students, provide mentorship and guidance, manage routines and schedules, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and participate in development and recreational activities, and lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel. The role transitions from nine consecutive days on duty with three days off to a placed houseparent in a fixed student home, with relocation to Hershey, PA indicated and relocation assistance provided; benefits include comprehensive medical/dental/vision, retirement options, PTO, and housing/utilities during duty period.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two spouses must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home

- Two-person role for couples
- Must be a married couple
- No alcohol on duty
- Smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- Pet limitations: fish and one dog of approved breeds allowed
