Job Summary
Provide daily supervision, mentorship, and support for 8–13 students in on-campus homes while managing household routines, schedules, and budgets. Administer medications, drive students to activities, and plan developmental or recreational engagements. Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel services. Work nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with unscheduled weekday time while students attend school. Transition to a Placed Houseparent role after initial support of various homes. Both spouses must be married for at least two years, age 27 or older, and hold a valid driver's license for student van certification.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- This is a two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
Desired Qualifications
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
