Job Summary
Married couples serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents, living on campus in student homes and supervising a group of about 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. The role starts with a nine-on, three-off cycle and may transition to a Placed Houseparent living in the same student home. The position offers relocation assistance, comprehensive benefits, paid time off, and salary of $44,768 per person (approximately $168,000 total per couple).
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouse requirement: both spouses must complete individual employment applications
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Comfort leading students in devotions and attending Sunday Chapel
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Married for at least two years
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children in student home
