Job Summary
Houseparents provide daily supervision and mentorship for a group of approximately 8–13 students living in on-campus homes. Responsibilities include managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications and ensuring student wellness, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Chapel attendance, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and transitioning from a Flex Houseparent role to a placed Houseparent role while residing with the same student group. The position is full-time, for married couples, with a work schedule of nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, and includes relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Two-spouse two-person role requires both spouses to submit individual applications
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
