Job Summary
For consideration, Milton Hershey School seeks married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents living on campus in student homes, providing supervision, mentorship, and care for about 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily routines, medication administration, transporting and engaging students in activities, leading devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting and reporting, and maintaining a structured, family-like environment. The role follows a nine-day-on, three-day-off schedule initially and later transitions to a placed Houseparent living with the same group of students. Salary is $46,917 per person with relocation support and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
